Implementation timeline

December 2022: JoFatoora, Jordan’s national e-invoicing system, is officially launched.

January 2023: Companies and professionals begin mandatory registration.

February 2023: Taxpayers start integrating their systems with JoFatoora.

October 2024: ISTD sends reminders to complete registration and integration.

April 1, 2025: Phase 2 begins — e-invoicing becomes mandatory for all B2B, B2C, and B2G transactions.
