Features of the electronic invoice in Oman

Tax Authority: Oman Tax Authority (OTA).

Framework: Fawtara e-Invoicing

Model: PEPPOL 5-Corner Model

Scope: Oman is moving toward structured electronic invoicing using the PINT OM / Peppol-based framework.

Electronic Invoice Format: The mandate applies to all VAT-registered businesses for all transaction types: B2B (Business-to-Business), B2G (Business-to-Government), G2B, and B2C (Business-to-Consumer).

Language: Invoices must support Arabic and English.

The electronic invoice is expected to contain structured information required for tax, commercial and transaction processing.
